EuroChem’s 2011 annual report was declared “Absolute Winner” at the 2012 Sochi International Investment Forum. Accepting the award for EuroChem, Mr. Vladimir Torin, Head of EuroChem Public Relations and Communications, thanked the Krasnodar administration for their highly professional organization of the Sochi 2012 Investment Forum events, as well as the British consultancy firm TheCollege for its assistance in preparing the winning report.

The awards ceremony was attended Mr. Ivan Peronko Deputy-Governor of the Krasnodar Region, Deputy Head of Administration of Krasnodar Region, Mr. Igor Slavinsky, Head of the Krasnodar Region Financial and Stock Market Department, management from some of Russia’s leading companies, as well as Russian and foreign experts, among many others.

This year marked the 9th edition of the Annual Reports Contest and once again reports from Russia’s leading industries had been submitted from such sectors as metallurgy, power generation, oil and gas, agriculture, transportation, and finance. Experts from the Federal Financial Markets Service, Russian National Association of Securities Market Participants, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and industry representatives determined the winners in each of the 15 categories. Each report was assessed on more than 20 criteria.

This is not EuroChem’s first award-winning report, its 2010 report earned numerous accolades in Russia as well as a nomination at the 2011 IR-Society’s Best Practice Awards for best annual report by an unlisted entity.
