EuroChem announced today that it held an international seminar on the standards and methods used in sustainable development assessment. Held at Bureau Veritas’ Paris headquarters, the event attracted British, French, and Russian sustainable development experts and was an important achievement for EuroChem as it brings its sustainable development policy and corporate non-financial reporting to international levels.

With its ambitious investments in sustainable development, EuroChem is incorporating present-day sustainable development standards, assessment methods, and reporting into its corporate management system.

Attending the seminar, Elena Feoktistova, Director of the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility and Non-Financial Reporting at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, acknowledged that given the relatively young Russian market, sustainable development management and reporting are still making their debut and need more efficiency, quality and competence. In this context, EuroChem not only prioritizes the compliance of its integrated management system with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, it also expects ISO 26000, SA 8000, and AA 1000 APS social standards to be incorporated in its management system.
