Job Description:

Reporting to marketing management, you will be the responsible for the agronomic advisory and for the R&D activities carried out in Spain and Portugal.

Your tasks and responsibilities in detail:

  • To coordinate agronomic team in Spain.
  • Initiate commercial trials, demonstrations and field days to generate new data to support commercial activity
  • Development and implementation of new product concepts
  • To coordinate and monitor of R&D projects carried out in Spain and Portugal in close co-operation to global agronomic and R&D department
  • Lobbying activities to opinion makers (central and regional administrations, vulnerable zones, climate change,…)
  • To create and update informative and technical material to support sales: presentations, brochures, web,…
  • Meetings and technical training to sales team, customers and end-users
  • Sales promotional activities with the sales representatives

Necessary qualification:

  • Engineering or science degree in agronomy or related fields
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent computer skills MS-Office (especially in Excel and Power Point).
  • Ability to work proactively and in a team. Organizational ability.
  • Analytical mind, problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail.
  • Readiness for business travel, mainly in Spain and Portugal
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Highly desirable – working experience on agronomic advisory and/or agronomic research and field experiments
  • Highly desirable – educational background on plant nutrition and fertilization
