EuroChem Karatau, Kazakhstan
EuroChem is increasing phosphate mining and processing capacities in Karatau, a project in Kazakhstan with a prime location to access growth markets in China and Central Asia and strengthen intragroup phosphate rock supplies. The current expansion of phosphorite flour production from 0.6 MMT to 0.8 MMT in 2024.
EuroChem Serra do Salitre, Brazil
In March 2024, EuroChem started ramp-up at Serra do Salitre phosphate complex in Brazil. The new mine and plant complex will have an annual production capacity of 1 million tonnes of advanced phosphate fertilizers, significantly increasing the reliability of domestic phosphate fertilizer supplies to Brazilian farmers.
EuroChem Northwest
Located in northwest Russia, the Kingisepp ammonia plant has an annual production capacity of 1 million tonnes, taking EuroChem beyond self-sufficiency.
EuroChem VolgaKaliy
The Gremyachinskoe deposit is one of the four largest deposits of potassium ore in Russia and is characterized by a 10-meter thick potash layer with an average KCl content of 39.5%. EuroChem VolgaKaliy has mining rights on more than 1.6 billion tonnes of reserves in the deposit, as per Russian classification.
EuroChem Usolskiy
Located in the Perm region near Russia’s traditional potash production sites, the Verkhnekamskoe potash deposit is one of the largest in the world. Within this deposit, EuroChem Usolskiy has secured rights to over 2.3 billion tonnes of reserves with an average KCI content of 30.8%, providing it with an active mine life of 35-plus years.
